Sword of the Hunter

Sword of the Hunter

Although it never achieved the reputation of its predecessor, the indomitable Type S Scout/Courier, the Type T Outrider was designed to be a nimble light transport requiring minimal crew and upkeep, and it more than lived up to those standards. The ship was popular with independent scouts and prospectors due to its vehicle bay and excellent sensor array; the Type T came standard with Corellian Engineering Corporation stock ion drives and a Rendili StarDrive hyperdrive insuring that repairs wouldn’t be a hassle, even the far flung reaches of the Outer Rim.

The Sword of the Hunter, Robin Nash’s Type T is ancient even by starship standards. Philosophers might ask if it is even the same starship that launched from Rellim Shipyards since every engine part, hull plate, instrument panel and power conduit has been replaced and upgraded at some point over the countless decades the ship has seen duty. The Sword is held together with duct tape, guitar strings and numerous illegal modifications, but she is still a handy and trusted flier.

Silver Mynock

The Silver Mynock

During the dark times before the Rebel Alliance won its first victory against the Empire, the Silver Mynock soared the spaceways. Rhett Garidan and his outlaw band changed the name of this well-worn Koensayr GG-3800 transport ship many times, but the ship first came to infamy during a daring assault on the compound of Ruuten’s Imperial Governor Rliss Bursthed. Rechristened in honor of the success of that raid, the Silver Mynock and her crew soon after became the target of relentless Imperial pursuit, Sith assassins and bounty hunters. The Mynock's final fate is unknown.

The Silver Mynock was inspired by the ship featured in Star Wars #38, "Riders in the Void" by Archie Goodwin, Michael Golden and Terry Austin.

The Marvelous Hedgehog

The Marvelous Hedgehog

The distinctive shape and improbable name aren't the only memorable things about this battered old spaceship. A dozen owners and as many overhauls have added extra pep to extend the life of Beowulf Thrustspeare's Whorfin class courier well beyond the limits of its warrantee. Most recently, Charlie the Droid has goosed up the speed and jury rigged an extra shield generator, and Miria Casteel has livened up the interior with a fresh coat of paint and bulkhead-to-bulkhead carpeting.

The Stormraven

The Stormraven

When Kirby Connin was in desperate need of a ship, she had little choice but to purchase the Limping Lady from one of Jabba the Hutt's ne'er-do-well smugglers. What began as a flying death trap has become, over several years of modifications (and one major stay in drydock), a potent starcraft able to hold its own in many an engagement. The latest modifications include expanded crew quarters (at the expense of cargo capacity) and a proton torpedo launcher scavenged from a scuttled Y-Wing.

The Seedling

The Seedling

Although no longer manufactured by the Ithorian Ecological Consortium, the Treespan Scout Ship has a well-earned reputation for reliability and durability. The Treespan was specifically designed for long term scouting missions beyond the frontiers of known space. The Treespan came standard with a Groundhopper speeder bike that fits snugly in the vessel's spacious cargo bay/garage. Another notable feature of the Treespan is its hydroponics garden, which, if properly tended, can extend the ship's consumables rating by several months.

The Seedling was created and designed by Gareth Anderson.
