Before we get started, I must admit this post is coming quite a bit later than I\u2019d intended. The short version is that I kind of broke this site and was unable to access it for a couple of weeks. Here is my pro-tip to any aspiring bloggers: make sure you know what a plug-in is doing before you start messing with it. Everything is at last ship-shape and Bristol fashion, so let\u2019s get back to it!<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.generic-hero.com\/ThisWeekinAurabesh\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/06\/justicar_stop.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-3391\" src=\"https:\/\/www.generic-hero.com\/ThisWeekinAurabesh\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/05\/justicar_tm.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"560\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.generic-hero.com\/ThisWeekinAurabesh\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/05\/justicar_tm.jpg 560w, https:\/\/www.generic-hero.com\/ThisWeekinAurabesh\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/05\/justicar_tm-300x161.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 560px) 100vw, 560px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Recently, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.swtor.com\/info\/news\/article\/20210525\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Aviriia<\/a> asked me to translate a poster in Coruscant\u2019s Justicar sector. Although I\u2019ve examined several\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.generic-hero.com\/ThisWeekinAurabesh\/2016\/11\/04\/justicar-propaganda-law-and-disorder\/\">other<\/a> Justicar <a href=\"https:\/\/www.generic-hero.com\/ThisWeekinAurabesh\/2018\/10\/01\/justice-has-a-mustache\/\">posters<\/a> in the past, his particular example had long been on my to-do list, but the screenshots of it I\u2019d saved were taken at a distance or awkward angles, but I figured I\u2019d give it a go. To my surprise (and embarrassment) I found that there was a perfect view of the poster to the immediate left just inside the sector that I\u2019d completely missed despite countless trips to Coruscant over the years.<\/p>\n<p>The poster itself fits stylistically with much of the other Justicar propaganda plastered around the zone and it shares with them the same distressed paper texture and sickly green and black palette. Like the other posters of this style, the message is fascist and ominous in tone. Given what players learn about the Justicars as they play through Coruscant\u2019s stories, this is entirely appropriate.<\/p>\n<p>As we settle into another Summer of SWTOR, I\u2019m planning to clear out my backlog of untranslated Aurebesh. I tend to prefer tackling translations that I can discuss beyond \u201cThis is what it says,\u201d but I\u2019m hoping I can bang out more recreations than normal since I\u2019ll be able to skip out on the commentary (or \u201cuseless flavor text\u201d as a friend calls it).
